Hi, I’m Afraz Ali, senior consultant, architect, trainer, and a passionate software developer. I originally started programming in 1999 when I first introduced to C++. Over the years I have worked in many enterprises crafting multiple enterprise applications.
One thing I have learned over the years is that crafting software is an art, and just like any other art you need to master it. In my early days, I used to think that when I complete my technical requirements I have completed my work. I have learned over the years that the job is only half done at this stage. Enterprise software lives for many years, sometimes for decades. If we don’t go the extra mile to improve its quality, over time it starts to rot.
On Code Cooked, I try to share what I have learned, what I preach and practice daily. I try to share tips to be more productive. I share the tools that I use every day and the design principles that every software craftsman should master.
